Credits:

Web:

  • Melon's Intro to the Web Revival - A great read that not only talks about the Web Revival, but also touches upon learning how to make your own website as well. (Comes with its own lists of resources too!)
  • Freecodecamp - A site that teaches you to code. If you need to learn by doing but have trouble with figuring out how/where to start, consider going through a few lessons to teach yourself the basics.
  • W3Schools - Not only a great resource for HTML and CSS, but many other programming languages as well. (Java and Python just to name a few.)
  • Visual Studio Code - A program to code your website in.

Games:

  • Renpy - Visual Novel focused game engine. (I used Renpy to make my first game!)
  • itch.io - Browse through and play a bunch of cool indie games. Or maybe upload your own if you have something to share!

Art:

  • Krita - Free and open source. (Used to be my main art program!)
  • Line of action - A site for gesture drawings. I should honestly use this site more than I do, though it has been a great help when I find myself in a creative funk.
  • PoseMy.Art - I've tried a few different poser apps/programs in the past. This is the one I've been using most recently. There's a paid version but the free version seems to work just fine if you aren't worried about trying to do too complicated of things.

Extras:

  • BeepBox - Make some funky tunes in your browser!
  • OneLook Thesaurus - An online thesaurus that gives you a bunch of synonyms for words. Also helps you find specific words you can't quite recall.
  • Crystal Pite's The Statement - (video) A movement ballet that makes my brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
